How do I stop hating myself
You’re already probably a lil narcissistic (no shade, i am too) because self hate implies deep self absorption and concern over oneself that is overblown. Like you hate yourself because you’re not smart, beautiful, funny, sociable, talented, charismatic, whatever, as your ideal. But you KNOW there are people worse than you. Like you know it. It just doesnt matter to you because you need to be more beautiful, smart, charismatic, whatever, than that. So you already have a big ego even though it’s fragile and you love kicking it down. Again, no shade. Anyways, you need to realise self pitty is cringe. And since you already give yourself so much importance, you can use that ego combined with the cringe at self pitty to stop engagin in corny repetitive thoughts like “boo i hate myself”. Anytime a really negative thought about yourself comes, roll your eyes at yourself, with kindness but annoyance, like you would do to a loved friend that is being stupid. And move on.
it’s actually insane to me how many people think misandry is as prevalent and harmful as misogyny like genuinely i mean this so seriously if you think misandry is a real problem that hurts men then you are a wholesale idiot & you are a failure
tumblr in 2023: men, don’t let feminists make you feel bad about being a man! misandry is cringe!🙅🏼♀️
the whole entire rest of the world: are women people with personalities, hopes, and dreams? we asked 6 men, and they said “i haven’t thought about it”

literally though if you feel like your life is slipping through your fingers and every day goes too fast… try doing hard things, not just taking the easy route, like reading and making art and exercising and cooking a meal from scratch and journaling, doing these things without distraction, without being absorbed on a screen… the time will stretch and you’ll be reminded that life is long and beautiful if you make it so.

i’m a simple girl: i see sunlight on the water, i find god
i hear the laugh of someone i love, i find god. the setting sun fills my room, i find god. i eat fresh strawberries off the vine, i find god. someone rests their head on my shoulder, i find god.
